My last blog was actually about Cloverfield. I guess by this point I assumed
that anyone reading it would infer. Anyway, another theory that popped in
my head was that the movie could actually be one big "lead up" to several
other movies to come later. Like Lost with the flashbacks and
the flashforwards. We could sit for 2 hours watching one long flashback.
I have a feeling all the buzz about Cloverfield will either create a blockbuster
or simply a bust. I hope the movie does become one of "Biblical proportions."
Let's face it, it would be original. The monsters of the Bible haven't been
put on screen yet.

What about Babylon?
I don't know what the monster will look like, or how many there will be,
but I tell you my favorite theory so far is the plot taken from Revelation 18 and
17. I have wondered why the Biblical accounts of destruction have
not gotten more attention. Movies made with all the technology
today would certainly do justice to the apocolyptic scenes found
in the scriptures. Talk about finality, talk about scary. We will
see, but I mostly hope the movie lives up to the hype.
